In our self-funding clinic we offer the following services

ULTRASOUND

Ultrasound is the first in line of diagnostic methods used in abdominal area, with vessels, muscuolskeletal system, neck and scrotum. It is fast, not harmful and in the hands of an experienced radiologist a reliable method. In our clinic we offer ultrasound examination of the whole body except for gynecological and heart examinations. We use a modern ultrasound machine. Our specialist will offer a detailed explanation of the results and when needed advise you on further diagnostic methods.

BONE DENSITY MESUREMENT - DENSITOMETRY

Bone density measurement is a radiological examination that enables us to measure changes in bone density (osteoporosis, osteopenia). With the data that is gathered therapeutic and preventive measures can be applied in time. We recommend bone density measurement to women after the age of 75 years and people with risk factors (chronic illness, early menopause, glucocorticoid treatment). We use a modern densitometric machine. The amount of radiation is very small (compared to 1/10 of the dose of lung x-ray). Our specialist will offer a detailed explanation of the results and consult you about therapy, changes in lifestyle and how to prevent bone fractures.

COMPLETE ANALYSIS OF THE BODY TISSUES

Densitometric machine measures the proportion of the body containing muscles, fat tissue and bone (in grams) with the help of x-rays. The examination is recommended for determination of risk for cardiovascular disease, for professional and recreational sportsmen and for those who intend to lose weight.
